Several
positions are currently available for both undergraduate
and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral
research associates. Research activities will include the design,
construction, and maintenance of the in-house angle-resolved photoelectron
spectroscopy apparatus, and performing experiments both on the in-house
system and at synchrotron facilities. These combined activities will not
only allow the members of the group to develop a solid and broad experience
in experimental physics, but would also provide them with the exciting
opportunity of performing experiments right from the start, and of working
in a stimulating international environment. Given the complexity of the
experimental set-up to be built, maintained, and operated, doctoral and
postdoctoral candidates with experience in ultra-high vacuum, cryogenics,
x-ray and photoelectron spectroscopy are particularly encouraged applying.
Applications, including CV and possibly 3 letters of recommendation, should
be sent to Andrea Damascelli
preferably by email.
